TO THOSE who are continuing ongoing involvement and commitment to Interfaith Outreach Association we extend deeply felt appreciation and affection. You are, indeed, the very backbone of this organization. You are invaluable to us.

TO THOSE who may be newly acquainted with this Association--welcome! Opportunities for service and involvement abound within the various programs of Interfaith Outreach. This handbook will help you become versed in the many facets of our shared interfaith ministry co-sponsored by area congregations.

MISSION

Our mission is to cooperate in an interfaith effort to help improve the quality of life for our neighbors in need through education, guidance, and support.

OBJECTIVE

Our objective is to provide a vehicle for interfaith and interracial cooperation in Central Virginia whereby congregations and their respective denominations may enter into partnership with other community agencies to relieve distress and to improve the quality of life for individuals and families.

HOME

The Interfaith Outreach Association office is located in the Parish House of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 605 Clay Street. Also housed in the building are St. Paul’s offices, the Church’s thrift shop, and headquarters for Meals-on-Wheels.
